Nigerian music sensation Ayra Starr has opened up about her love life, revealing that she has no intention of dating a fellow musician—even in her wildest dreams.
Speaking during an interview with American singer Coco Jones for Rolling Stone, the “Rush” hitmaker was asked if she would ever consider dating someone within the music industry.
With a laugh, Ayra Starr dismissed the idea, joking that her dream partner would instead be a billionaire enjoying a luxurious lifestyle on a yacht in Dubai, referencing a popular viral social media trend.
The award-winning singer also revealed that she has set extremely high standards when it comes to relationships.
According to her, she is grateful she wasn’t actively dating before becoming famous because she now knows exactly what she wants in a partner. She added that anyone who fails to meet her expectations simply won’t stand a chance.
Ayra also admitted that her demanding music career leaves her with very little personal time, making it even harder to focus on romantic relationships.
